pizza hut @ siglap

okay so last night, the 10 of us went to pizza hut at siglap for dinner. half way through the meal, my friend noticed there was a small insect in one of our pizzas. i didn't think much of it as the really was really small and insignificant, but my friend raised the matter with a waiter.
soon, the manager came to apologise to us and told us a new pizza would be given to us. alright cool, we thought and continued with the meal.
after everyone was done we asked for the bill and started collecting the cash. at this point of time, the manager went over to my friend and took away the bill.
we were wondering why he did that when he said, it's okay the meal is on the house.
we were all stunned for a moment. the bill was $130 and the manager decided to waive it off.
so we told the manager that we wanted to pay or at least let us pay half of it, but he insisted, so we just accepted it lor.
i'm really impressed with the attitude of the manager, unfortunately i didn't take down his name. he was a malay guy maybe in the 30s.
Kudos to the manager of Pizza Hut @ Siglap! you've definitely earned my respect !

fwah impressive leh.
i rem the last time i went jurong entertainment centre de pizza hut, the service was really terrible.
the pizzas were served late without apology, service was lousy, and when i asked why they overcharge me $4, the manager said "$4 only wat." and refused to refund me the $4. As a result, me and my frens were late for class. We wrote in one complaint letter each and got $10 voucher nia.
