Where to find best prata?

Very Sorry To Say - but Jalan Kayu Prata is so over-rated, and is nothing more then a pain in the pocket with its shrinking size - and this cheating trend is growing from the number of copy cats following the same miserable size at a hefty price of 60 cents per piece. Everyone is being taken for a ride by the Jalan Kayu hype, and they expect everyone to be "kayu" to be thumped like the prata dough.
The good old traditional Prata that tastes as it should, and of the size that its has always been can be found at places where the REAL Indians eat them.
Corner of Geyland Lorong 5 and Sims Avenue - open 24 hours.
Corner of Syed Alwi and Verdun Road - open 24 hours
Around this area, you will find some real good and truly authentic northern Indian naan, chapati, prata, tosei, etc. etc. with curries, keema, etc. etc. etc. to go along with. -

My apologies, "around this area" refers to the Serangoon Area - from the corner of Dunlop Street-Serangoon Road right up to corner of Kitchener Road-Serangoon Road.
There are more then twenty over authentic Indian Restaurants.
The best chapati and mutton accompaniment is at the corner of Upper Dickson Road-Serangoon Road.
Cannot miss the ginger tea that go by the name : "Teh Ah Leah". -

forget all the jalan kayus, fong sengs
i recommend good roti prata at cheap prices (same price as jln kayu, but bigger pc)

my favourite is the onion prata, its the size of a egg prata, but only 80 cents!!!
the gosong is stil 60 cents, but confirm bigger pc than jln kayu...
the only bad thing is the curry, it seems abit powdery kind n not spicy enuff for me... but stil its one of my fav prata points.....
