spring roll pastry sheet

  most of the time it's used for deep frying (such as deep fried spring rolls)
  
  but i like to eat the pastry sheet "raw",
  
  wrapping it with lettuce, tuna, mayonnaise, honey mustard
  
  sometimes i steam the sheets and spread butter over them
  
  anyone like to eat it "raw" also?

  miss those popiahs...
  
  juz use the skin to wrap lettuce, veggies, sweet sauce and chilli, and then eat..

  those popiah skins are very nice too
  
  heard joo chiat got one shop very famous for their popiah skins, they go by weight if i didn't rmb wrongly (something like 1kg $20 plus)

  i like the skin of popiah. always aim for the 2 ends of the popiah where it is 'abundant' with popiah skin.

  I cut them into small pieces, then deep fry, keep in air tight container then slowly eat like keropok..
