Where's the best Ice Cream cafe?

  I wanna bring my friends out on christmas for something special, so I thought hey, maybe ice cream will do the trick. Any one know of any goooood Ice Cream cafes with reasonable price(becoz I wanna treat them ), preferbaly somewhere near city hall to paya laba. I've thought of Ben N Jerry cafe( I love benNjerry ), haigen dazz(if i spell correctly), swensems(omg... my spelling sucks...), but those are too common. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks yo!

  Thanks for the replies but er.... Wah lao!!! LOL, 60c mac cone, $1 wafer ice cream, omg! I mean like some better place la aiyo At least FireIce gets the idea, thanks FireIce lolz. Let's say I'm willing to spend $18.00 per person, there's 2 friends so yea. Any more ideas????? Keep them coming, woots!

  Gelare - go on tuesdays lagi better, half price waffles!
  
  Mingles - buffet at around $13 after gst and service charge, i think.

  They're nowhere near the City Hall - Payar Lebar area. Icekimo is nice though.

  Cold Rock @ holland v is nice. U get to mix 2 flavour of ice cream + topping($1 each for topping). So if taste not nice then maybe your own problem of doing the wrong mixing. But shouldn't go wrong if u mix the normal like fruit flavour sorbet with a fruit flavour ice cream. Just don't take BUBBLEGUM, too strong, will cover the other flavour.
