What Do You Think Of Vietnamese Coffee?

  Hey everybody,
  
  Just wondering what you people think about Vietnamese coffee. I especially like the G7 3-in-1 coffee from Trung Nguyen. Those who have been to Vietnam or been given this by friends/relatives will know what I'm talking about!
  
  I'm just gauging the level of interest among Singaporeans. Thinking of bringing this beverage to our shores... (Of course, the ads will be placed somewhere else... I know the policy towards commercial ads here!)
  
  So, any Viet coffee lovers like me?

  Hmmm... no idea what sort of roast they use but if you're talking about vietnamese drip coffee, iced with condensed milk then yep, count me in. Just don't import that weird tube like cracker they serve with it (tastes odd).
  
  Hopefully this traditional beverage escapes metropolis treatment with arabica beans, low fat milk and equal sugar in your bistro.

  The best part is waiting for the drip and sipping it on a warm lazy afternoon, whiff of fresh pastries from the bakery and loads of cigarettes while people watching.

  You guys hit the nail on the head! Haha.. Ok, actually, what you're talking about is the "fresh" type of the coffee... the type where they grind the beans into powder and you pour hot water over it, and let it drip, drip, drip onto condensed milk below. I like that too!

  I have the little drip thingy too, but mine is a free one that I got when I bought a 500g bag of coffee. It looks cheapo... Where can I buy a proper one like the one in the pic huh?

  It has this unique taste...not too bitter...not too soft...its just nice...wonderful for afternoons...

  Wonderfully strong and aromatic! Had it at a Viet restaurant in Suntec and Starbucks, Spinelli and Coffee Bean pale in comparison.....
