  Yakult is Japanese....Vitagen is Malaysian/Singaporean...
  
  The probiotic cultures in Yakult are from Japan...The same in Vitagen is produced in and imported from Denmark...
  
  Oh yeah Yakult is sweeter and tastes better (to me) but Vitagen is healthier with its 50% less sugar and more dietary fibre.
