Place to get good taiwan snacks

  Hey, i have stayed in taiwan for more than a year during a company training stinct and am a great fan of taiwan snacks (xiao chi). Am writing this to recommend and also hope to discover good places to get them in singapore.
  
  Some recommendations
  
  (1) Shihlin (found in couple of shopping malls like junction 8, suntec, century square etc) for their osyter mee suan
  (2) Xiao Bei (found in century square tampines basement) for their chicken nuggets and wings
  (3) Ximen (found in tampines mall basement) for their fried sotong
  
  Anybody has any recommendations or comments?

  i think somewhere in joo chiat got this restaurant call feng lai...serve taiwanese food

  someone mentioned and commented abt feng lai ge...which seems to have an outlet in lau pa sak

  Think Shihlin still around but re-locate to other unit in century square
  Saw my dotter buy the fried chicken bits from there a few times

  not shihlin lah...there is one at basement that also sell taiwanese food one...but all deep fried one...even their veggie

  I am adding another stall called Miao Kou (in Bakit Panjang Plaza) though i have not tried anything there. How's their food?
  
  Went down century square and shihlin is really not there anymore. BTW, the stall at century square basement 1 is Xiao Bei. Think it was opened by a few engineers who went to taiwan for company training and decided to bring it back to singapore. Tried the fried mushroom this time round, tasted quite ok.

  there's one 'yi kou wei' or wat.. cant really remember.. bugis junction got..
  
  like their sweet potato and crispy chicken.
  
  mum said their oyster mee sua also nice.

  Hi I went to Xiao Bei Century Square to try their mushroom, taste not bad. I prefered their chicken wings. Taste differently from conventional chicken wings.

  shilin sux.

  not even close to the authentic '豪大鸡扒' of shilin nite market or the 'ah zhong mee sua' of ximen ding.
