  Old Chang Kee going mobile

  Curry puff maker, Old Chang Kee, is going mobile.

  It has introduced an environmentally friendly 10-metre long Mobile Kitchen, which can operate anywhere it's needed.

  It will offer the same capabilities as any of the other 60-odd Old Chang Kee outlets located across Singapore.

  The mobile kitchen dubbed O’ My Darling, is scheduled to make its appearance at this year’s National Day Parade rehearsals, where Old Chang Kee has offered to sponsor snacks for NDP participants.

  It will also grace the opening of the Singapore Food Festival at Lau Pa Sat early next month.

  While the Mobile Kitchen shows Old Chang Kee’s drive in growing the
  business, it is also reminiscent of the food chain’s nostalgic heritage.

  CEO William Lim said when it started back in the 1950s, Old Chang Kee was just one push-cart stall.

  In a move toward shrinking the carbon footprint and prevent further global warming, the Mobile Kitchen will run on bio-fuel - transformed from used cooking oil! - 938Live

  its not even good snacks! i'd gladly pay the money if the stuffs is good, but every time i saw old chang kee stalls i get damn turned off.
