For seafood, what about no signboard seafood restaurant in vivocity? How's the food there? and also the location?
If you don't mind paying more, Jumboo Seafood is good. It is at east coast, serangoon garden country club. I went to the one at Serangoon Garden Country Club, it's superb. Like it very much. The other good one is Long Beach.
In the end never went Lau Pa Sat...
For lunch we went for dim sum buffet at Dragon Gate Restaurant at Harbourfront...then went to Sinma in Geylang for seafood dinner where we spent a whooping 176 for 4 ppl...then we had Singapore Slings (at the request of my friend) at Long Bar in Raffles Hotel. Quite interesting to see how the peanuts are being littered around the floor in the bar lolz
i got a newsletter on dis food festival leh.

Had some seafood at the stall selling pineapple fried rice.
Nothing very special, Bedok 85 can fight with them. Not worth for me to travel there anymore.
I am dying to make a trip to head office, so I can pass by lau pa sat and try the new hotshots hamburgers. Read some awesome stuff about their 1/2 pounders.![]()
if anyone's interested, here's a little bit on Hotshots. It's not bad really. Prices range from around $5 to $8 for their burgers. I would have preferred real cheese instead of those cheese sauces they used though.
