Yum Yum....I like many foods that are offered at Bedok North 85 market...Bak Chou Mee, BBQ Fish, Porridge, Satay Bee Hoon and Fried Prawn Mee....

personally, i think the prata at upper thomson or fong seng (outside NUS) still the best!!
and if u like kopi-peng / teh-peng, try the coffeeshop at serangoon gardens that's directly opposite coffee-bean.
that's the coffeeshop that has dim sum too.
the kopi-peng & teh peng is the best i've had at $1.20. frothy, tasty and not too sweet! good man. now i'm salivatin.... -

i think there are several places with some really great food. I'm a chicken rice fan and fancy almost all the outlets serving gd chicken rice.
As to great eating places, i can name several:
1. Tanjong Pagar Hawker centre
a. fish head bee hoon
b. yummy king nasi lemak (there are 2 of them)
c. Yong tao fu
2. Changi Village (i can't emphasize this place more!)
(almost everything there will grade a 7/10)
3. Chomp Chomp
4. Maxwell Food Centre
a. Porriage stall near the road (long stall with white panels)
b. Zhen Zhen fish porriage
c. Ah ballings
d. beggars' chicken
Newton Hawker centre is overrated and filled with overzealous stallholders.....expensive too. -
