You can visit those hokkaido fairs at shopping centres, and get the melons, prices start from 45 bucks, each.![]()
For me if choose those already sliced honey dew just look at the color , if the color looks rich, then should be juicy

Buy all the melons, give tasters to eat. If they tell you this melon is juicy, tasty, then keep it. There you have it!
For watermelon... take a heaviest one..Heaviest one has lots of water content....It should be juicy and ripe...but not foolproof... Try your luck next time...
For honeydew....no clue as yet...
