  haha yeah i know. cilantro is pretty good, and cheap because it's a kopithiam setting. if u're not looking for ambience, this is pretty good.

  I was recommended L'agle dor (hope I got the right spelling) at Duxton Place or near Duxton Place.   Not sure if it is still there.   Few of the expats I know of claim that that is the best french restaurant in Singapore.

  yeah, doubt the michellin guide will be coming to asia anytime soon. michellin guide was created for drivers in europe during their road trips to fine good dining.
