Where got sell nice desserts or u know how to prepare nice and simple desserts at home can put here?
yesterday I went Chinatown Complex Food Centre for lunch and its my first time tasting this dessert which consist of Ice, rambutan, kiwi seeds,pineapple and papaya with lime juice but I forgot what its called.. anyway its quite delicious and the outall look of the dessert like a ice mountain.

my mum knows how to make mua chee, red bean soup, soya bean, cheng tng, etc etc.
and she knows how to bake all kinds of cakes and confectionary.
and pudding, and agar agar, etc.
cool huh? =D
I recently tried the stall at Chinatown point call 记得�. the durian puree is yummy but abit ex $6.00. they have plenty of other dessert too.

yes...i also like the almond paste with comes with slices of almond along the food street

my in-laws used to be selling dessert. unfortunately å�Žè®°æ— 人. I used to help out making the cheng tng ingrident. it's hard work. today, not many can make genuine cheng tng

many years ago when we went back to our hometown in teochew, we were served sweet noodle with hard boiled eggs. I miss that too
before in FIL passed on, he taught me how to make a typical teochew pumkin yam paste. Unfortunately the lousy student didn't really learned the skill except eating it ![]()
