as above.
why?
my home made burgers are pretty nutritious, i think.
two seeded buns + fresh veggies + pan fry beef patty (the only unhealthy thing is the oil)
what makes fast food joint's burgers so unhealthy? could it be the excessive mayo? or the oil used in frying the patty?
what makes you think the stuff they use is actually beef?
or oil..
or mayo..
or whatever ![]()

The oil used, is black in colour... after frying frying frying.. i think they only change the oil once a month
which is very digusting, and unhealthy

trans fat..
yah. the stall selling sweet potatoe balls at maxwell market used to be my fav stall till they started to stinge.
if u look at the color of the oil they use to fry the food. ull b gorssed out.
somehow they dont realise ,using old oil affect the taste of the food.
the main reason is the amount of salt they put inside. and the fat in the beef

I agree...it's so gross.
the oil if they never change will change structurally
carcinogenic.
so BEWARE!
aiya the old adage still holds: you'll only eat with your mind at ease when you yourself prepare your own food and know that it's safe and clean
Agree... the reused oil is really urghhh....
damn!! life is short.. why bother so much>>?? eat whatever you want, otherwise you wont get chances anymore if your time's coming then you'll meet dragonhell..haha
Heard over the radio about the test they did in US. Someone was examined before and after the test. This person was put to test to eat burgers everyday for one month. After one month, his blood pressure went up, cholesterol level increased, heart beat faster and so on. Before the one month, his health was good. So they have concluded that it is unhealthy to eat burgers often.
that's fate.. have to accept it>>>haha
You take into account the fat in the meat, the cheese and the mayo. By the way, mayo are made primarily of oil and egg yolk. IYou could amazed by how much oil was pour into the bucket.
