I have tried the Dim Sum at East Ocean (at Shaw Centre)...very nice..but the only thing is that u got to book way in advance and get there very early..cos the queue is very very long

The best I have tried till today is East Ocean. During weekends, the waitress will carried the tim sum around asking you if you would like to try. They have different kind of special of the day dim sum which you wouldn't find it at other places.
The other which is also nice is Crystal Jade Restaurant in Takashimaya, not the small small one in the basement. I agree that tim sum from Crystal Jade Kitchen is not as nice as from the restaurant itself.
To see is not enough, you got to go and try it to believe it.
Tried yum cha before, not that fantastic if you have tried East Ocean before...

Had eaten in one restaurant in Bugis, dunno which floor, The dim sum is ex, and not very nice. They have those prawn balls, dumpling, spring rolls etc, but not nice.

I went there once but there wasn't much stuff on the conveyer belt...so had to order personally...but as the dim-sums were SUPPOSED to be on the belt, there wasn't an official menu for the dimsums...so it was hard for me to order...
There were the usual dim-sums, plus udon..etc..so it was abit Jap also la...
But the drinks damn ex!! $3 for a coke!! Foodwise, its quite nice...but definately not value for money... -

there's one at raffles city mall too.called Grand City.the durian puff not bad.egg tarts are yummy!

Anyone tried Lao Beijing at Novena Sq/ Plaza Sing??? Is it nice? I wan to try the dim sum there.
