Snapped this picture when I was at Liang Court last Sunday! It's one huge bar of Meiji chocolate, retailing for about $35. I put the medium-sized bar on it for comparison purposes. ![]()
I think this would make a great present! It doesn't cost a lot, but hey, how often do you come across a chocolate bar THIS big? Or you could buy it and when you host a party, serve it to all the guests! ![]()
Maybe this is enough to cure depression! ![]()

what has this big big choc got to do with buddhism, blasphemy!
Oh, here's a disclaimer (now must add one if not later I get scolded again)...
When I went to Meidi-Ya, there were only five of these huge chocolate bars left on the shelf. I suppose that's all the stock the supermarket has (low demand mah), so if you're really planning to go down there and get it, I hope the stock hasn't moved/moved very slowly this week. Good luck! ![]()

Is this choc nice? Many times I wanna buy but not sure if it is like the normal jap choc which tastes sweet and smooth with very mild choc taste.

Sometimes I like it... but I am not good at describing things...
Can a kind soul help out? ![]()
Or you just buy one small bar and try? Your own tastebuds are the most trustworthy!

Personally, I am a dark/bitter rich chocolate lover.

Oh, then I think you probably won't like Meiji's milk chocolate. They have a dark chocolate version, but I've not tried it before...
Have you tried their 99% dark chocolate yet? ![]()
It's inedible. ![]()
But still... no harm giving the milk chocolate a try - you might end up being a fan!

mooku, i have tried meiji's dark choc, not to my liking, too mild.
If you wanna go for dark choc, percentage should be around 70%+. Have heard recommendation from expert on the exact percent but not sure now cos can't remember.
