its abalone quality ranking according to size
so means the smaller the better?
The head count (10 or 12 or 32) refers to the number of abalones that make up a kati or 600gm. The smaller the abalone, the younger it is and as it takes years and years to grow to a large size..the standard is that the bigger and older, the better the taste

compared to a 四头�, which needs 4 to make 一斤,
�头� is better.

u can tell by the can numbering on how many pc is in the can
1 whole pc, 1 1/2 or 2 pc - written at the bottom of the can
