  common drink served throughout brunei...

  

  costs between $1 - $1.50, and the standard ingredients are black sugar, tea and coconut milk. however, ingredients may vary if you go to malaysia; some of the stalls serve those drinks with pandan, coffee and some others. the most number of ingredients i have heard of is 5 so far, but without coconut milk.

  taste differs from stall to stall. and the most expensive one isnt always the best (for eg, i had one cup which costs $1 with stronger aroma and nicer taste as compared to the other which costs $1.50. mainly due to the contents of coconut milk i guess)

  thought that one is called yuan yang or sth? because it is just a normal coffee tea combo and i do order it in sg occassionally at coffee shops.

  i know sabah and sarawak has some wierd combos made up of 3-5 layers.

  I think using evaporated milk instead of condensed milk brings out the tea flavour.
