Happydent white, kamu orang Indo ?
I tried the few in Singapore but still not as authentic as Indon food there. By the way Indon is a big country with various schools of cooking, every places have some unique dishes, esp in the warungs at night. My favourite is Ikan Baronang Bakar from Sulawesi.![]()
Food always tastes better in their native lands.
dia indo ya?

Not necessary, there are some Indon good food in town but some ingredients are lacking. That's the difference.

Tried a few. FRankly I don't really like the food at tambuah mas. Taste very ordinary. Prefer Sanur.

Agree. Tambuah Mas is pretty ordinary. Sanur is nice but still a far cry for my taste buds.

Saw the taiwan food programmes, they went eating at the roadside stalls, food looked good. The kueh kueh tastes good acccording to the host. I sure love kuehs with gula melaka
yeah, I try it few days ago!! the taste of Java food is really amazing. Keen to try it again.
Anyway, Happydent white, are u Indonesian or Singaporean?
i miss Ponderosa...

ponderosa is indo food?
there are two at far east plaza. Try the ayam penyets there. The sambal is delicious and spicy!
can also try the one at marine parade....quite near the posb. But a little pricey for that sort of location.
My favourite drink is soda gembira (soda mixed with rose syrup). The version here is pathetic as it only serves u the glass but in indo they give u the can to top up when ur glass is finished.

waha not bad! but in indo, they dun say "tak" they say "dak" as in tidak.
Saya SINGAPORE MALAY, BUKAN INDONESIAN. MENGUSIK!! SAYA CINTA MAKANAN INDONESIA KERANA BAPA SAYA ADALAH DARI INDONESIA. Saya Mendengar DARIPADA Rakan-rakan Saya, MAKANAN PADA "TASTE OF JAVA" ADALAH SANGAT SEDAP.
I tried the Indonesian food at Marine Parade before. The owner is sucks. Especially the young chinese guy (age nearly 30) with short hair and sweet talker. He is a real bastard.
