where do unsold breads go? help please!

i heard there are organisations that collect unsold breads from bakeries and bread shops and deliver them to certain regions where the elderlies live and it helps them to live. but i seached thru many search engines but couldn't find any website that states the information.. can someone help please?

Not all of it is collected, my estimate is that 75% still goes to the trash after 10pm.
