Manpuku is a new Japanese food hall concept that offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a Japanese gourmet street setting. 10 counters in the food hall will include renowned restaurant names such as BOTEJYU, YOSHIMI, HOKKYOKUSEI, AOBA and traditional Japanese food establishments famous for their dishes and set up more than half a century ago in the 1920s and 1950s.
Have you visited the restaurant yet?? Do you like it or not? What are your favourite dishes there?
So far i only tried once at the outlet in Tampines 1, i would say the place is real cosy as we were given to sit at the far corner. As for the food wise, to me the taste and the prices are overall still acceptable. Here are some photos of the food we eaten. Sorry for the poor images taken by my camera hp.

asspensive rite?
The singlish word for Manpuku is 'Pukul mati'
eat until you cannot eat
went b4 the one at tampines 1...
long queue outside, but when go inside, so many empty tables... almost 40% still vacant tables... in the food n beverage industry, it's called 'building bridge' (zhuo qiao)... make the place looks as if very packed/ long queue/ very good food/ very popular until no seats...
airflow also not so good... go in 10 minutes, when u come out of the outlet, ur clothes will got the kitchen oil smell...

Hmm 50+ for 2 persons for the kind of food eaten shown in the photos really abit steep but 20+ for dinner meal still affordable to most of us.

Quite agree with your comments on their sitting arrangement. We saw a lot of ppl queue for their turns when we came out of the restaurant but in fact there are still plenty of empty tables inside. For the airflow problem, i never met it as we were sitting at the far corner next to the outdoor dining area which we could see the mrt track.
