FIRC (Food Innovation Resource Centre), is a SPRING Singapore - Singapore Polytechnic initative for local enterprise.
FIRC will invest some $7 million in state-of-the-art equipment and qualified personnel over the next three years. It was the first Centre of Innovation (COI) to be launched under SPRING's $150 million Technology Innovation Programme (TIP).
The TIP encourages SMEs to grow their businesses by adopting technology to create high value products and services and compete effectively in the global market.
Currently the centre has launched an interactive forum, that needs the views of consumers, like you and me, to give suggestions and views on what they would like to see in the food industry as well as what influences them.
