Best Chicken Rice Stall

Some place down chinatown got one stall sell chicken rice delicious sia....Din know the exact location but it need to walk a long way from lucky chinatown shopping centre....

Got one stall at Katong also not bad but expensive nia....But good food to eat so dun need to be thrifty over mei wei ke kou......Yummy.....Who's hungry now?

Last time at Margaret Drive Hawker Centre, the Sin Kee Chicken Rice was very good...
However, I think they changed management after the guy sold the shop to someone else, not as good anymore, but still pretty good stuff

The average price of Boon Tong Kee chicken is quite standard:
1. 12 bucks for half a chicken
2. 22 bucks for a whole chicken
3. 6-8 bucks for vegetables or inerts and intestines
Customers who patronise the place aren't usually there for a drumstick meal...they usually whack whole chickens.
By the way, the price list above is for the main branch at balastier road. The outlets at upper bukit timah and river valley are a little more costly (add 1-2 bucks to the price list above) However, the service is generally ok and food quality so far is gauranteed
However, another franchise - Wee Nam Kee, is not bad either. Price range is comparable. Got one opposite the novena church that opens until quite late...past 1130pm and another outlet along thomson road near the sweet secrets shop.
If u're looking for exotic taste, u can try the kampong chicken rice opposite the wee nam kee at thomson. Affectionately called "Chicken House", the meat is lean and tasty, with very little oil used. They serve cold crabs too...huge crowds ard 6-730pm daily.
Oh by the way, "loy kee best" chicken rice is very ordinary ...quite a common sight in food courts. -

Not that bad.. it's still pretty good but not as good as before...
I think it's because the boss wanted to retire and his children don't want to continue... but last I heard, he got sick of sitting around and opened up another one somewhere else nearby.. I heard it's across the road near the Queenstown sports complex.. the HDB blocks in between there and Queensway shopping centre.

serangoon garden there got 1 leh.. forgot wad name le.. very nice.. got restaurant n coffee shop wan.. both in the same row of shops..

Far East got one...forget the name..".......boneless chicken rice"I think it's the 4th or 5th floor...very nice and fresh chicken.Been there twice in two days...the boss is very friendly.price is ok....

yah yah...the far east plaza one really bery nice...best u go b4 3pm cos after that the chicken is most probably being sell out. They close on Sunday.
