  6) Dim Sum - Hong Kong (originated from Guangdong - exising for 3000 years)

  7)  Spring Roll (Beijing, China and Vietnam)

  8)  Hainamese Chicken Rice (from Hainan Island, China)

  9)  Laksa (Katong Laksa in Katong) - showed the 328 Laksa in Katong

  10)  Fishball (Indonesia) - Some fishballs there have potato inside.

  One of my favourite.

  Used to have plenty of nice ones, but now extinct here.

  Sad.   Sometime back, a forumer recommended nice satay from a coffee shop in St George's Road.     I have not tried, so don't know if it is nice.

  The closest we can get is Malaysia.   Satay in Malaysia is sedap

  In the show, it was said that Java is the place satay originated from, some said satay created by overseas chinese. 

  Whatever la, as long as it tastes yummy , sedap, I love

  But it was shown on TV they cook the hainamese chicken rice.      My mum went there said there is but not tasty

  There are chicken rice in Hainan, but taste different. Not so tasty.

  YOu said the same as my mum.   Mum said the way they cooked is also different.   But the hainamese chicken rice in Hainan Island I saw on the TV looks good.
