Sad. Sometime back, a forumer recommended nice satay from a coffee shop in St George's Road. I have not tried, so don't know if it is nice.
The closest we can get is Malaysia. Satay in Malaysia is sedap

But it was shown on TV they cook the hainamese chicken rice. My mum went there said there is but not tasty
There are chicken rice in Hainan, but taste different. Not so tasty.
