Anybody Want to Learn How to Cook Cabonara Pasta?

I am an event organiser. I have a teacher who used to work for an Italian Restaurant at Chijmes. He can teach you how to cook seafood pasta (tomato base) and Cabonara (creamy base) in one lesson for S$40 per participant on 10 May 2003 (sat) afternoon.

For god's sake you don't need to go to a class to learn how to cook bloody carbonara!!
I can teach u right here!
Ingredients: black pepper
cheddar cheese by the block (grate it)
parmasan cheese (however u spell it)
paresely (however u spell it)
streaky/back bacon (chopped up into bits)
salt
1 pack of white button mushrooms (campbells)
pasta (anything u want; preferably spagehtti or fettcine; however the heck u spell it)
extra virgin olive oil (borges)
1 litre of milk
corn flour (IMPORTANT)
Ok grate the cheese, u need about 2 or 3 handfuls of cheese all grated, chop the bacon, mash the parsely, cut the mushrooms.
Cook your pasta according to directions on packet... using pot and water and salty water with some olive oil added, boil pasta until al dente.
In frying pan, fry the bacon and mushrooms until done, set aside on plate.
ok in 1 small bowl... add 2 or 3 teaspoons of corn flour, add some milk,,,, stir and stir and stir until got no lumps... set aside...
ok in 1 pot, add 4 or 5 cups of milk, bring to boil, stir and stir,,,, then add your grated cheese... stir some more.... then add the corn flour milk mix, (SPECIAL NOTE: stir the bowl of corn flour mix 1 final time before u add in) then continue stirring... the sauce will then thicken....keep stirring for abt another 3 mins on small heat... until the sauce bubbles slightly....then finally add salt and pepper and your friend mushrooms and bacon....
Then put noodle on plate....add the sauce and sprinkle parsely and pepper to make it look POWER...

Yes cream also can but trouble is more Ex...further more it is more fattening. But cream tastes better.

actually cabonara is being modified so many times... that theres no correct way of cooking it ... i read up so many styles and i find this the most interesting by celebrity chef jamie oliver...
boil the pasta... the usual method ..
mix cream with egg yolk ... then season with salt pepper ...
toss the hot pasta into the portion and stir ..
serve immediately
tried it b4 and althought its not as thick as the usual cabonara... its quite nice... just sharing with u guys some ideas ..
