Everyone eats instant noodle. Someone said that before, I think its Newton or Planck who said it (kidding). Anyway, instant noodle is like the unsung hero. I think we should talk more about it, considering this is a food forum!
Let’s discuss what is your fave brand, and how did you cook it. I many of my friends cook them differently, some claim that their technique makes the noodle nicer. You know, double boil it, or put the flavouring into it when it’s half cook. Whatever lol.
I’ll start with mine:
Fave Instant Noodle: Indomie, Chicken Curry Flavour
How I prepare them: Well, I boil the noodle, then carefully pour it into the bowl with flavouring in it. That way you wont dilute the flavour with too much liquid (tadaa!).
for mi
juz boil the water
put my noodles in it plus egg and vegetable
then wait for 5 mins
then wait for it to cooked
usually I'dd add additional ingredients like fish cake, veggie, prawns for example..
i prefer dried version
mix the packet of powder with oyster sauce, sesame oil
boil noodles
drain water
mix with sauce
I like cup noodle most. Korean cup noodles, kimchi or beef flavour. Portion big some more =D Can't remember brand name though.
I like it hot.
i prefer the dry versions

I love the sesame smell. Through out my years many people has been telling me, "Eat too much instant noodle is bad for your health. As long as eat everything anything in Moderation, you are fine.
me, cook my in boiling water then take out noddle and drop into cold tap water then back to boiling and add in hotdogs, eggs, vag and stuffs.. it supposingly makes the noddle bouncier
Best instant noodles I ever had....
I was on a topo mission during Ex Crescendo.
I cooked two packets of Maggi curry in my mess tin (with as little water as possible) and dumped one whole can of some Thai-brand chilli tuna into it.
Damn shiok. ![]()
it's best to put in the soup powder after cooking the noodle if not there'll be the white white boil boil thingies floating on top...
ohhhh i love the nissin sesame noodle too! thats awesome lol. my friend once told me to know whether the noodle is 'just nice' you use chopstick and lift it up, if its straight then its ok, if its still 'curly' then its still undone. lol you can tell he eats too much. but maybe can try Saltiga's method to make it better
Nong sim, korean brand quite good
Egg only! LOL...
But even if you cook the noodle with the soup powder, it wont make much difference right?
Take chasoba for example. Its just boiled noodle with no flavour. but the flavour comes from dipping it into the special soya sauce accompanying it (and it taste friggin awesome). so whether you put the soup powder into the boiling noodle or not, shouldnt make so much diff. or is there? lol i never actually paid so much attention into it

I prefer myojo noodles. the chicken tang mien. I'm also for the kimchi noodle now.

crush noodles in the packet, pour the seasoning powder into it, shake well...eat...
Hey people! kinda need some help here. I was wondering if anyone can help me out by doing this simple (3 min only) survey about the local food lifestyle because i'd be really appreciative if you help me! Thanx!
