Sometimes, I have the urge to eat steamboat but almost all steamboat shops will only allow 2 or more persons. So, sometimes I have to pay two persons charge though I only one person eats the steamboat.
So, anyone knows where to eat steamboat whereby one person also can eat ?

what about mini steamboat?
I have not come across steamboat restaurants that charge by the person, nor have a ruling of minimum 2 ppl. I frequent thien kee, and yet con, and they charge steamboat by the set prices, not pax.
Likewise, at rajah inn, tiong bahru plaza, the one serving mini steamboat, whether its buffet or individual, there is no min pax ruling or such. No business will limit the way they can bring in income.

maybe the one at suntec will allow you.. coz they have personal steamboats anyway
order for 2...tell waiter another one coming.......that way u can eat 2 person meal for same price!!!

the price for one at suntec is almost the same if not more for the price of 2 at liang seah street

Crystal jade is good actually, went to try the beef and xiao long bao. Yummy
its all about business costs - steamboat for one person hardly sustain the owner's profits of oil and gas especially if u r a great eater....
anyway, those china operated steamboats should have ..but i dun think their food is fresh and most may not keep up with health standards...
