Green Bean or Red Bean Soup??

  I'm sucker for green bean soup, can't resist them when I see them, with sago is good, with freshly squeezed coconut juice is even better!!

  Red bean is more re (hot), green bean is more liang. Choose one

  If the dried orange peel is not added, then I would prefer the green bean soup because its less heaty. If added, then I would go for the red bean because it is more cooling.

  My mum always cooks that =) green bean with sago. Dono why, but i feel red bean has more taste, more sweet also

  .....maybe add sago more smooth, more sticky feel. Sweetness depend on how much sugar you add right? Don't think red beans are naturally sweet...
