  The china town gt a desert stand that's very popular. Near the place I go buy my herbs, next to macdonalds and a shopping mall. Many kinds of deserts. Not bad.

  I know that one, the one that has good hand brand groundnuts scattered all over its cashier counter. Its not the best in chinatown, it was only popular when the hawker centre had to close down for renovation, so people only had the choice to go outram or go there.

  Since the hawker centre has reopened, the best one has returned back to its original position, facing a whole line of stalls selling the fish head with hot sauce. They sell out fast, and they don't close at nine, because they sell out fast.

  1) frozen yogurt from Yami Yogurt and no where else

  2)  from Peach Garden restaurant:: : bubur hitam in coconut served with ice cream :) :) yummy....

  Its mung beans, and mung beans are green beans, like in green bean soup. But the beans in tao suan are actually deshelled green beans, achieved by soaking green beans overnight.

  If you wonder why tao suan is so hard to find, and why most dessert stalls offer them, its because it is labour intensive to make. Not worth the time and money.
