There used to be this coffee shop with this stall, Chita Rasa Restaurant (name only got the word 'restaurant', but it's just the name for the stall), which operates at Bedok Reservoir Road under Block 133.
I remember so clearly (all the way back since 1999) how nice the food was. They sell seafood, and it's the best seafood I've tasted. Not even Sakura, Lau Pa Sat, or any new seafood stalls near my area can match the taste, and price. Prices were cheap, my family of 6 would spend less than $100 for fried rice with prawns, baby squid, lemon chicken, butter prawn, beef hot plate, kang kong, etc.
The last time I went there again was about 5 years ago, only to learn that the place is no longer there. An internet search has yielded no results. And I've gone to the extent of wanting to write to Makan Places Lost and Found should they make another season.
If anyone knows of this place I speak, eaten there before, or better still, know where they have gone, please share in this forum. Thanks!
Whoops... went there. It's still there. Though under a new name and new management. But still, super nice food and also cheaper compared to other seafood paces I've been...
