i wanna find out more about marche@ 313
like for example, suitable for like celebrating birthday making
abit of fool. having pretty large crowds llike around 9 to 11 at nightand can i actually make a reservation?
how is the environment like? how about the price range.
and any other additional information about this restaurant may be usefulThanks!

the last time i had marche was the vvc branch
not as nice as last time when they were at heeren and suntec

the good stuff were rosti and calamari and pork knuckle (old marche)
the new one......... even though still got these items................std drop.......

hahah. true ah. but lets say i make up a birthday bash, "deco" that person. and make that person like read out a script. possible in that environment. hope its actually vibrant and not those too quiet places. make some noise! haha!

u can go fish & co.
the staff all get together to sing bday song
even give u sparklers
confirm alotta noise and alotta other ppl staring at u all
and alotta embarrassment for the bday boy/girl

which fish and co in suggestion? oh btw, price range abit higher right? hahah that sounds nice! sure got alot ppl? perhaps some friday night in a few weeks time. but gonna plan early first.
now the idea of marche shaking alre. but i really need a good place. need to confirm by tmr afternoon sia.

F&C oso got some items can share
the one at glass house would have the most "atmosphere"
got stage with band, so u can ask the band sing bday song or make ur fren go on stage (if the manager allow)
reservation is allowed and encouraged since tt outlet damn pop and best food quality -

personal main course and a drink and sharing desssert + taxes would be under $30
but then F&C desserts are -_-
so i think u shd share appetizers instead, esp the calamarithe sharkies (a pitcher of fruit blends) are enough for 2-3 ppl to share
the platter is good for 3 ppl (ladies) -- about $40 with taxes
i hope ur fwens are not all hungry army boys just booked outta BMT

The marche branch at 313 is actually not bad, in fact its better than the vivocity branch. I was there once for late lunch, there were no crowds at all, it also happened to be monday, maybe thats why its not bad.

me and my wife spent $60+ and we still feel hungry after that. Personally,i don't think it's worth the money. Went to gyu kaku a japanese bbq restaurant recently,spent $300 for juz 2 pax but i came out as a happy and satisfied customer.

but its like a birthday celebration. i pref like cooked food. and really go like make it memorable for someone. but marche is abit mafan in their way of billing actually. hmm.... the f&c sounds cool la i mean. glass house? where is it? park mall one is it? i thought park mall very empty one?

How about New York New York? The branch at sembawang shopping center is very big and empty so it's suitable for a birthday bash and oh,their staff's service is very good as well. See if you prefer fish & co's food or new york new york's.I prefer new york's food,their vanilla root beer and potato wedges are so tasty.

For me, fish and co is the last place I'll go for dinner. New york new york has gigantic portions, however their quality of food leave much to be desired. Take for example, the dish with the beef steak on top of mash potatoes, has a very weird metallic taste. And one of their fish dishes, the one wrapped in foil or paper, tastes like it was soaked in dish washing detergent. And their ribs, alot, can be shared among 2 people, do feedback if you do manage to taste the meat though.
