Food Establishment that we should Avoid!

Recently, my friends and I patronised a makan shop called Malacca Celup (shortchanged us of the expensive item that we paid for, even twisting the facts, then rebuked at the customers after feedbacks). Paid full fare (includes seafood and prawn) : $17.70, sat down eat, served and then sorry no more prawns. Then, no choice, customers must eat the same ingredients ( cockles, sotong, cuttlefish are still avalable..but we have to keep requesting but hardly served), as the $10.90 menu...!!!
To safeguard everybody here, which other shops that you strongly advise that we should AVOID..?

i did not use groupon ($10.4), i paid FULL FARE buffet $17.70(seafood/prawns all included).. and then.. they say no more prawns..then menus become almost the same as the groupon....limited food.the cheapo ingredients one :(

Yucks i hate buffets. if i wanted quality, buffet is the last place i'll turn up.

at east coast road, opened in april 2011.
Anyway, the boss has apologised but aint sincerely, can indirectly sarcastic rebuke us..
saying the prawns has turned bad..so did not serve (staff mention otherwise, they have finished serving the lunch, no prawns for us -dinner crowd, but still accept full fare..) and then luncheon meat was soured..he mention why did we not bring it up (we did mention to the staff which they shrugged and walk away)... he said he put in fridge, cant be spoilt..
scary... lucky we did not get food poisoning that nite. one of other customers wrote on forums too, stating that the liver served was stale (turned grey coloured).

they just housekeep their FB website and deleted ALL THE CUSTOMERS complaints about their service and food, and shortchanged incidents.... and then post nice nice pics...

mine and some other customers posting of their shortchanged of food, stale/unfresh food were all censored and taken off hungrygowhere.com... leaving the "GOOD food" Ad-style writing and promoting the shop...! its dishonest g siah !! so hungrygowhere.com is not accurate at all . i will never trust it liao..... !!! wah kaoz...

I am not sure of this cheating shop is still in Harbour Front , named Singa Bagus.
They are real cheat, the picture and actual food served are different. Asked them about it they kept insisting they are right. No apology.

Told you liao HGW will delete away all the negative comments. No pt going there anymore.

Posted the 2nd time on the reviews on the shop on HGW.
.AGAIN, THEY DELETED ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS...which were the recent ones...
they seems to do weekly springcleaning, thus leaving the few better ones (posted some time ago ones) for viewing..which is also strangely seems to written to their own advantage... !

I still see negative reviews for a few other establishments on HGW. Perhaps someone from the shop sent HGW a letter hinting at a lawsuit. It's sad but not unexpected nowadays.

sadly those reviews are true experiences of the customers... if like that, we dun need foodie websites for reference liao.. more like advertising website... yeah..money makes the world go round... from black transform to white...

You could put it up on your own website if you wanted to and see what happens. A lot of people back down when they get these letters because they don't have the money or the time to defend themselves and they don't want to have a false but humiliating picture of themselves painted in court by the claimant's lawyers.
