This is mee siam with an Indian twist. The owner spent 25 years cooking in Shenton Way before moving to his current stall in the west.
The ingredients - crushed peanuts, prawns, coconut milk and a lot of spices - make for a spicy, sour, sweet and aromatic dish.
Opens: 10.30am-00.30am daily. Closed on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month.

Makan sells Malay mee siam with a more flavourful and thicker gravy. The stall is also much loved by residents for its lontong and gado gado.
