something nostalgic is always missing in those foods though they try to advertise hard that their laksa are real katong....or chix rice is real hainanese....

The food sold in all the food courts in all the shopping center is so-so only, rarely got good food that i will recommond my friend to go try de. They all like chionging to get your plate of rice ready without thinking about the taste and quality.

We still got places in singapore doing the old school style... Just tat u need to go look around...
Most of these owners are old and cant find any apprentice... Some of them, even their kids do not wan to take over... Thus the art will really die out sooner or late...
