there are a couple of bistro restaurants along the Sentosa boardwalk between Vivocity and Sentosa Gateway.
www.sentosa.com.sg/en/getting-around/sentosa-boardwalk/
King Louis grill and bar, beside Diaso.
About $40 - $60 per pax. ![]()
Ambience is good because less people due to price range. Serves alcoholic drinks too.
Very long time never go there ler, kinda miss the food over there.
Theme: medieval, knight, castle, king, queen
Portion: reasonable to huge

o we wanted vivo cos the price will be more reasonable. I tried The Wine Company at boardwalk before, not bad! the red wine chicken is good. Their wines there was one that was nice. Sweet n fruity. But I'm not a wine person so idk how to appreciate.
thanks for the link tho!

Thanks di!!! =D so the 40-60 is for ala carte + an alcoholic drink?
theme meaning in the restaurant got different areas to sit with diff theme? =D
food-wise, gotta go with Modesto's
usually no need to wait in line, they'll take reservations too, and the food is good

Theme: medieval, knight, castle, king, queen. It's a general description of the theme. Like olden day castle theme where you feel you're back to medieval days.
The food menus are for Kings and Queens
so the portion is really good! Yar 40 - 60 is for ala carte + drinks. BUT their single ala carte is huge!
What I suggest is go for the best set meal and have some alcoholic drinks, it'll make your meal a great one.
The last time I went there, I walk out of the bar like a KING. Of course, for king's meal, you have to pay the king price.
I don't really pay attention to the price, but I love the experience. If you go at non-peak hours, you might see the boss and chef, and they might come say hi to you ![]()
P.S. Jie, who you bringing there? ![]()

Technically, there is, if you put harbourfront under the same roof, which they technically are.
I was abit late... Jap food? I was about to suggest Tajimaya...
Still rank in 3rd in my list for japanese grill bbq...
Another alternative would be sushi tei...
Wierd though, I personally tried King Louis a few times... The main course wasn't up to my expectation though the soups is thick(not overly concentrated) and good...
@fifi: Kim's Gary still there...
Tajimaya would be a great not-so-expensive alternative to gyu kaki, if their stoves weren't so-hot-in-your-face.
