  Anyone knows where to find the best Bak Chor Mee in Singapore? I have travelled the island, tasted a few good and few bad but I want to know where is the best in your opinion!

  I "got" say !      The name is posted.     They were at Hong Lim Food Centre, then moved to Prince Edward Road Food Court, now I don't know if they are still there.

  Soup is superb, best among all other I have tried.

  If anyone who knows the whereabout of Tai Hwa Bak Chor Mee, please post here.

  It is pricy but I think it is OK for once in a while consumption.

  They had a stall in Marina Square before the renovation.

  I have been trying to find out their whereabout but to no avail.    This is a lao zi hao, established long long ago, decades ago.

  Just got it.         It has 4 scores.       I have tasted ah kow at Hong Lim , not that nice to me, Tai Hwa is still the best.      Good good good, will go Crawford to eat.

  Yaa lo, more fishball than meat.   No Bak Chor , saw only 1 piece of pork.

  The Tai Hwa Bak Chor Mee looks like that (as in the pic below).   It is with pieces and bak chor and other ingredients.

  I am sure this is not a stranger to many of you. What more can I say? Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle  is one of theBEST bak chor mee in Singapore. If you are a bak chor mee fan and has never try this before, you are definitely missing out alot.

  
  

  My previous workplace is very near to Crawford Lane and almost everyday, we will have Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle for lunch. The queue will start as early as 11.30am and sometimes we have to wait for about 1 hour for our noodles.

  
  

  That night, we were around the area and decided to eat this although it was already 9pm and we had alot of food beforehand. We just can't resist the temptations!

  
  

  

  
  

  Noodles

  The mee kia is perfect - al dante and springy. Their mee kia is thicker than the usual mee kia we have, hence giving it more bite and firmer. The best thing is, they don't have the alkaline taste which is present in many noodles.

  
  

  Sauce

  Sauce is full of chilli and vinegar, which is a robust mix of savory, spicy and sour.

  
  

  Ingredients

  The essence of a good bowl of bak chor mee is definitely the fresh ingredients. The pork they use is fresh and well marinated. Their pig's liver is also cooked for just the right amount of time, hence very tender and addictive. There is also fried ti poh (fish sole) which is very rare! Soup is rich and flavourful as well.

  
  

  Price

  Prices here range from $4 to $6, but I suggest you forget about the $4 one because it will just not be enough. I ordered the $5 which is just nice for me.
