Amen ! Sin Ming my Fav too . Only here con find Real Ribs not other look alike so called RibsOriginally posted by Atobe:There are quite a few varieties in the manner that "Bak Kut Teh" is cooked and served.
You have those that are cooked with a strong pepper flavor, and another with strong herbal base, and yet another with a light herbal base in a soup flavored with black sauce.
Some of the "Bak Kut Teh" are served in medium portion of rib cut, while others served big long chunk of ribs - nearly 150mm long.
Two favorite stalls are :
at Sin Ming Road, Block 22, left corner coffee shop (when looking at it from the main road) - this one serves every bowl in tasty pepper soup, each bowl has one big chunk of rib, and two smaller pieces;
the other is at Upper Hokkien Street, at the Ground Level of Block 531-A Market cum Food Centre, which is behind Fook Hai Building - this stall serves a very tasty herbal brewed "Bak Kut Teh", with the meat being very tender.
