there are however slight difference between the two tho...
for Ya Kun, the toasts are very thin and have got a small slide of uncut butter i between that makes it very sinnful. but the toasts are very crispy
on the other hand, killiney toasts are softer and the kaya and butter are more well-spread -

Like Ya Kun for the eggs, super big, dunno how they make it the yolks so gigantic. Prefer Killiney's toast, can control how much kaya and butter to add..Ya Kun's slices of pure butter turn me off a bit, esp when it's cold

n how can anyone not taste the diff between these 2 and normal coffee shop?? kaya toast at normal coffe shop usually suck leh.. -

ya kun... the toast are thin and crispy.. and yes the butter is fantastic!!! I dun like melted or soft butter....
and go with their soft boiled eggs and kopi-O siew dai... heavenly!!!

Ya Kun's toast abit swt leh... E kaya in particular... Always haf 2 drink lotsa water aft eatin their toast. 1st time eat quite nice, but subsequently so-so nia loh. Their butter nv spread properly one leh. Juz put in e middle, den bread too thin. But thumbs up 4 e crispyness!
