Where's the best place to find PENANG LAKSA in SG? That is..

  Set up a store in singapore ?? nono too expensive..would not leave my stable job now (market no good leh). just consider do it part time. My laksa sure original.. I use thick rice vermicelli (laksa noodles) imported from Penang. I use kembung fish and hei gou is optional..

  Can check out Penang Penang in Katong. The green building that is said to be haunted.
  
  Quality use to be good initially but typical of these inexperienced food people, they cannot sustain the standard after a few months.
  
  Use to be crowded on weekends but now "park bung".
  
  For real Penang Asam Laksa you must try the one in Ayer Hitam or the one at Pulai Tikus.
  
  P.S. I am a former Penang boy and was up there over the Good Friday weekend

  anyone tried this laksa stall at a kopithiam behind bedok swimming complex? the kopithiam is next to the BP petrol station. apparently it has been selling laksa for decades since the 60s i think. wonder if it's nice.
