Cheese Cake recipe

  hey
  
  anyone has recipes/techniques on cheesecakes?
  i tried baking some but out of 5, only 1 passed QC.

  i dunno how to bake cheesecake, oni know how to eat.......
  
  perhaps u can search the net or go bookshops find those cookbooks/recipe books to yan jiu yan jiu
  
  me like cheesecake from Olio Dome, Secret Recipe and Cheesecake cafe.....
  u can oso go there and get some ideas

  I have a few cook books on cheese cakes ... tt's how i tried (and failed most of the time)
  
  I'm looking for a recipe and/or certain techniques which i can perhaps employ to bake a successful cake.
  
  I tried tiramisu ... a lil troublesome.

  Go to http://www.kraftfoods.com. Got very good cheesecake recipe. Search under Cheesecake --> Baked. Go for the Phil Classic cheesecake or the Phil. Classic new york cheese cake. Try putting a pan of water under the baking rack if you want the cheesecake not to crack. I only like baked cheese cake.

  have you managed to bake one yet? actually i made a few before, this is one that no baking required...
  
  3/4 cup finely ground graham cracker crumbs (cold storage)
  3/4 cup pecan sandies cookies (or any other cookies)
  (these 2 items can be replaced by the ready made available from cold storage as well...)
  3 tablespoons butter
  3 tablespoons white sugar
  8 ounces cream cheese (the creamier the better)
  1/3 cup white sugar
  2 tablespoons lemon juice
  1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
  
  Directions
  In a bowl, mix together crushed cookies and graham crackers with melted butter and the 3 tablespoons sugar.
  
  Press into a 7 inch springform pan. Place in refrigerator until ready for use.
  
  In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup of sugar and lemon juice.
  
  Whip cream, and fold into cream cheese mixture.
  
  Spread into pan.
  
  Top with sliced strawberries (optional). Freeze for 1 hour, covered with foil.
  
  Place in refrigerator 30 minutes before serving.
  
  easy and good....

  I baked the New York Classic Cheesecake found at http://www.kraftfoods.com. It tasted like the coffeebean cheesecake. Sorry...I only like baked cheesecake though they take more trouble. I even sold two of it at $45....to my husband's colleagues. My relatives have even requested for more. I adjusted the recipe's baking time and temperature a little, so that the top crust can be a little more brown.

  BTW, I use digestive biscuits and brown sugar (softer crust).

  i know a person who bake cakes very very well...it is ah ma...cos she likes to pangsai (bake cake in toliet)
