Some restaurants in Sentosa do not welcome couples

  Recently my girlfriend and I were in Sentosa for a day trip. After a long day, we decided to have dinner at one of the restaurants there.
  
  First we went to "Zheng Xiang Yuan" near Sijori Wondergolf and they made us wait for almost 10min although it was pretty empty and later told us there is no table available. We were very puzzled until we realized that they were only interested in either large group of people or tour group business.
  
  The same thing happened at the "River Inn" restaurant that looks like a chinese junk boat.
  
  I think this is very unhealthy practice and it discourages couples from choosing Sentosa as a place for outings.

  Any restaurants in singapore that dun encourage eating alone? Excluding fast food of course and those that need no intro one like sakae or swensens?

  if you wanted to dine at Sentosa and had money to spend at those places, you shld have chosen to dine at The Cliff instead... real nice classy place at The Sentosa Spa (previously Beaufort hotel) and romantic ambience.. great for couples.

  if you do go there, just be prepared that prices are in similar ranges as Mezzanine....
