New Place to makan in JB

i know this sounds out of place, but i just found a new place to eat in JB. Its near the "royal family's" place, the place where is usually open for the public to eat during Hari Raya. It is inside a sports complex, and is called pelangi cafeteria. It houses some of the best food from around jb. And the frog-leg porridge also not bad. If u guys are in JB can go try it out.

haha, erm, its at pelangi. There is a very big soccer field there wan. If u are going to Permas Jaya from pelangi, usually u have to pass by that place. And if u guys are wondering how come im so clear, its because im from JB myself. And i live ard tat area.

btw u like zhi bao ji? go to the bamboo restaurant. jus 2nd traffic lite from pelangi. turn rite at the junction whr thers a coffee shop called tian teen lai. then turn left n go straight. its jus after a small longkang. -
Haha. Im from jb, and i am always looking for good food. Not to boast, but i can safely say i know most of the places that serve the really nice food liaoz. Most of the stalls there are actually branches of famous stalls from around Johor.

Now how can i locate that " San Lao Mee Fen" ? Famous for it Fried Bee Hoon and Zhe Cha. I just know i have to drive into the Pelangi shopping mail road intowards the parking entrance and later........don't know leow. Hear it's zig zag in small roads....how??? -
haha, that would be very hard to explain to u....okie, since u r coming from spore, i presume u know where the new police station is, the place where the police always stop spore cars to check if they commit any offence, u will see a flyover, over there u can juz go straight, and then u will see a traffic light intersection (where plaza pelangi is), turn right and u proceed straight. U will pass by 2 traffic lights, after the 2nd one u will see houses, go straight till u come to a junction ( with only left or right turn) in front would be a school field, turn left, then u will get to another junction (left or right turn only, there is a condo straight up), turn right, and then turn left at the 2nd turn, u will see the shop on your right....
hope this doesnt sound too confusing, hehe, but if u really want, u can contact me when u r in jb, but i will not be back until after my exams though, which will be 3 weeks later

Heh Guys, an update of the place because i just went to JB.
For those people who are still not sure of this place, its actually near the golf range in Pelangi, travelling around the road, after the golf range u will see the soccer field that i talked about. Its not the restaurant in the golf club though, its a food court in another sports club, that has badminton courts and a swimming pool.
Anyway, there are now lots more new stalls around, and the dim sum there is also not bad.
They also operate till around midnight, but by then alot of stalls might have closed.
There is also a big car park, with free parking, so you guys do not have to worry about parking
It is also very safe there as there are security guards around. -

It is actually opposite a Shell petrol station
