wht good food u eaten in bangkok?

  where can u find good food in bangkok?
  and wht to look for down there that we can't find in singapore(like hong kong got smelly tofu etc..) ?

  try their super spicy fried rice with side dish.

  well dunno about good food, but avoid anything that's uncooked. took sushi in bangkok... and came home with diahrroea.

  I find almost everything in bangkok is nice

  glutinous rice with durian and mango fruits mix with coconut milk.... still edible lah, and very nice....

  Hmmm as I'm always in Bangkok for business, its usually at some fancy resturant. Went to this award winning resturant in Bangkok. Can't remember the name though but the Thai dishes in the menu is similar to Singapore
  
  However, I do like the Thai honey roasted duck (too bad coz of bird flu I didn't get to eat it (across the road of the hotel)when I was in Bangkok this time round ) and stewed pork leg (melts in yr mouth!) with egg with rice (food court below hotel) There was also this really good Thai Chinese resturant in Chinatown. Btw, I always stay at the Westin Grande at Sukhumvit Road. Oh, besides Thai food, the Italian resturant right beside the hotel is really good.

  marboonkrong s.c. has a food court on the highest level. I took the beef noodles/kuay teow there. Two stalls that sell. One is run by a thai chinese, serves in claypot only. Excellent beef balls, intestines and tendons ...first class food! and cheap too!
  
  You can try the road side stalls at chatuchak market but it's not for the faint-hearted...PS: flies-infested etc...

  flies are evrywhere in thailand....get tired of chasing them away liao

  There is this live seafood restaurant at the corner of "Hwee Hwang" St in Rachada where they serve fresh tiger prawns with their specialty source, and it is just out from heaven. Btw the prawns are raw. But it tastes so good......

  try baiyoke hotel the 70++ floor buffet. got entertainment as well. and it comes to only about 20sing dollars for the buffet.
