Anyone know how to cook "shen yu tang"? can teach?
My mum go check up 3 weeks ago and found herself with cancer...
Few days ago just went for operation...
I heard that this fish soup might be good for her...
it is.. if i'm not wrong, actually proven to help after surgery care as something in the soup helps heal the wounds of surgery..
i think just cook as normal soup.. maybe using a double boiling method?

All i know is that it's a fish soup...
there's a shop in jurong east market selling sheng yu, aka snakehead fish.
they're actually alive when you buy them.. and the uncle there would actually kill it and skin it for you.. even de-bone and slice into fish slices.
all you gotta do is go home.. put the fish slices into some water, and vegetable like cabbage.. season abit with soya sauce.. ginger.. red dates if you want to sweeten it.. and bring it to boil like normal soup.
as easy as that!
if fishballs and meatballs or anything pleases you.. just add 'em all in! but really.. it tastes good just with ginger, cabbage and vermicelli or noodles.
