Brownbox cafe, Serangoon gardens. Opposite chomp chomp.

Changing appetites at Far East Square... open till 11pm Mon-Fri & until 1am on Sat... closed on Sunday too... very good shakes, mudpies... about 200 dishes to choose from.... prices reasonable too.. up from $6.50 onwards... think the most expensive dish not more than $25....

ok, this will stretch ur budget by a bit ( $20 per pax) , provided u dun spend so much on drinks, appetizers and such ............... TAMADE @ robertson walk ............ pls ask for the booth seats when u make a reservation ............. This restaurant has a bar snaking down one side of the room, giving it a futuristic feel sharply contrasted with the bright red and black furniture. It serves a mixture of Western and Japanese food with mix nÂ’ match dishes where you can choose aromatic roast chicken or smoked duck breast to go with Italian or Japanese noodles, mashed potato or salad. Main courses go for $12 and $15, but leave some space for puddings, which include ginger pudding with toffee sauce and drunken chocolate bars. yup yup yup ..... this is the one !! food is east west - fusion if u like the term .......... ambiance is nice, mood lighting, cement floor ............... BUT MUST REM HOR, if booth seats not available, go another day !!!! their gooey chocolate pudding is to DIE FOR !!!!!!!!!!

The ambience is great, the crowd forms mostly couples.. and is not crowded at 730pm yet. So I managed to get good booth seats where u can dim the lights and relax on their comfy 'crouch' wooOoooOoo romantic
overheard the restaruant's boss that 'Tamade' is the chinese translation to hanyu pinyin.. initially I thought the name may be another lanuage translated but is actually the chinese swearing phrase 'tamade'
which really captivate me... 
food is good, price wise is not too expensive ($16-22/main dish), had a miso cod but the portion is kinda small, and the bday gal had bbq chicken. we both ordered this googy chocolate pudding, very chocolatey
overall rate the restaurant for 4/5 stars -
