last time there was one uncle at the bt merah hawker centre who sold chicken rice. his is more of a "light" variety. u'd feel ur eating v healthy food. i went there every weekend. i always asked for more soup and uncle is v nice always gave me more with a smile... too bad one day uncle told me he's going for heart op, going to close down chicken rice. this stall is damn popular during lunch time... have to wait v long.
i miss the uncle's chicken rice. if i had to live on chicken rice, i'd gladly do so. i'll prolly die earlier, but i guess its worth it.

I like the one in Lucky Plaza Level 2. It's a stall at a corner... Boon Tong Kee one also buay pai. I like their chilli.

must try the Raw Fish at stirling road 2nd level, it is thick n delicious but the minimum per plate is $5

Hainan chicken rice should try the one at Queenstown hawker centre, second floor.. very oily and quite ex, but very nice.
..but not sure if queenstown hawker centre has been closed for renovation or not, cos its very old and i haven't been there for ~3 months liao.. -
