Not very sure about the time, but according to what I heard from the news, the victim was there for dinner, mostly likely I think should be happening around the evening or night time.Originally posted by Micky04:What time of the day/night did that happen? I usually go in the mornings between 0830 hrs - 1000 hrs and get out before 3 pm in the afternoons.
Heard also that the Giant Hypermart's basement carpark isn't that safe at night.
Sg Rengit a lot of seafood restaurants. Too far to drive there, take boat from Changi Jetty to Pengarang and change to taxiOriginally posted by 01024G:The food at the market in Sg Rengit. But I like my grandmother's cooking best.
How do you know I always do that, but I don't take taxi unless there is no one to fetch me. I once in a year get to taste my grandmother's cooking.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:Sg Rengit a lot of seafood restaurants. Too far to drive there, take boat from Changi Jetty to Pengarang and change to taxi

Seafood restaurant now getting more expensive. And some not nice.
Not say very far to drive there leh. Almost same time as I take boat from Changi Jetty although taking boat is faster. Last time take boat 45 min, now 1 hour because of the don't know what that idiotic thing blocking.

oh yea, if u're drivin sg car in jb u should keep an eye out for trouble. not long ago, my mum got robbed by 2 guys outside plaza plengi(sp??). People seldom help when they see something like this happening.
R U referring to this place? I tried before but is cooked onsite leh. Very very good beats the one at Bamboo restaurant near Taman Sentosa hands down. Singapore cannot find similar ways of making this dish. But must order at least 1 day ahead, so cannot anyhow drop by and want to eat.Originally posted by Micky04:Anyone knows the location for the beggars chicken in JB..? I went there once with friends at nite but could not recall the exact location..
We drove along the seaside after crossing causeway customs and it was near a Malaysian army camp. It's a Chinese Restaurant and the beggars chicken was prepared offsite somewhere and brought to the restaurant.
