I recall sending one of my towkay to airport one day and we were chatting.
My towkay runs an airport, he was telling me that he did an exercise with his Managers, he ask them, whose job do you think is the most important in our company?
Some Managers said towkay job was most important, some others say Director of Finance, some say Operations Director, etc.
Towkay was surprised as all of their answers was wrong.
Towkay then told them its the cleaner job which is most important, let's say if the CEO is not around or whoever is no around, there may be inconvenience but the business still goes on.
If the cleaner does not work, the toilet will stink, the place will look dirty and everything might come to a standstill.
Morale of the story? All of us plays an important role no matter how small our role is.
We must take pride in our job.

You wan to go overseas to be cleaner?
No need mah, Singapore have, you go see your MP, tel them you no job, they will reconnect you to a cleaner or Jaga job.
With the $1000 salary, you can buy a flat, confirm by Minister of MND and Minister for Finance.

Well said bro.. same goes to TD's, no matter how low rated the job is, just imagine if all TD's strike during evening peak hrs, airport will be in total chaos jam pack with inbound/outbound pax.. then come JDIL with his viano offering double flat rate frm airport to hotel and vice versa..next day you see him...

all cab drivers stop working - traffic chaos.
all bankers stop working - financial chaos.
all police stop working - riots because people take matter into their own hands
all doctors stop working - people dying and suffering

Police said the charge was read to him at the Changi General Hospital (CGH), where he is warded. If convicted, the suspect can be sentenced to between five and 20 years in jail and at least 12 strokes of the cane. Investigations into the death allegedly caused by the suspect are ongoing and more charges are expected to be tendered against him for that, police added. A cleaner was instantly killed when he was hit by a hijacked taxi driven by a passenger at the Budget Terminal on Saturday morning. According to Channel NewsAsia, the cleaner was a Malaysian named Chandra Mogan who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at 7:13am. His family lives in Johor and he is survived by four children. Police have arrested the driver of the Citicab taxi, who is believed to have taken over the wheel after an argument with the original taxi driver. Witnesses said the suspect, believed to be a technician, tried to flee the scene after the crash but was stopped by the public, reported CNA. The Sunday Times said he was later arrested by police inside the terminal area. The force of the crash along the Budget Terminal driveway smashed the glass entrance next to a McDonald's restaurant.
