  I am a catholic and i visited my friend CHC before, i found it abit funny as it is more like a party rather than a place to worship god. The most amusing thing, is that my friend ask me to put some money into a envelope.

  I told him "how much you usually put?". He replied "10 dollar", and he quickly told me to put some similar. I say i come to visit the church or maybe worship god, but i am not here for some donation.

  When i went home, i thought to myself.. My priest of my church lives in a old-bungalow which is belong to the church, he drives a super old car and he uses a nokia phone. And i saw CHC pastor living in such a leisure life, i wondered and questioned myself "is my friend church more like a business than a worship place?". And than i promise myself never to go to those kind of church again.

  With all the fuzz around Kong, I almost missed the arrest of yet another "BIG" prosperity liar - Mr. Creflo Dollar. Creflo however was not caught for stealing. Not yet. So far, he only beat up his daughter. I guess one has to be anointed to do so.

  1. C starts losing members. She and her friends wake up to reality. She sees the stupidity that has cost her everything in her bank account.

  2. C starts losing members. Her friends leave, she stubbornly stays. She starts to attack her friends for losing their faith and says they will get their just desserts. Soon she has no friends.

  3. C members continue to believe in Donkey. All of them continue to lose money, waiting for the 100 fold blessing. They wait till their dying day.

  You're wrong. Westerners have more ability for independent thinking and critical thinking skills.

  Asians are prone to group thinking mentality. We tend to be too book smart and not street smart. And book smart are still the minority in society. Many people just don't possess the necessary judgment.

  Religion losing popularity in Europe and the US is a long term trend. It is only enjoying a slight temporary increase in popularity in the US.

  Assuming that your mind will shutdown the minute it realizes that this is against CHC, I have copied for you an important sentence. Here it comes:

  Personally, this perhaps was the toughest season in my life – I had to grapple with the thought that perhaps… just perhaps… all that I believed all these years which makes one successful and a good man – is it really sustainable? I’m concerned about how will I become in future, having been taught the “DNA” for the past 16 years. What if it is all a dream? What is my life like now? You really have to go through a lot of serious thinking.

  An Indian parent Harveen Narulla has written to Education Minister Heng Swee Kiat express his concerns about the proselytizing activities of City Harvest Church (CHC) in Singapore schools.

  

  In a widely circulated video clip of a youth leader at CHC explaining the church’s strategy, he claimed that CHC has ‘penetrated’ 70 percent of schools in Singapore and at 10:30 in the video, he proudly declared:

  “So as you can see, most of my leaders, full time staff, worshippee [sic], they all came from the school revival. If you reach the school, you can build a church.” 

  Mr Harveen Narulla began his letter by expressing his concerns at CHC’s specific targeting of children in schools:

  “As a parent of 2 young children this targeting of children and young persons in schools concerns me extremely. Ideally my wife and I want our family and community, and the modeling we provide, to have the guiding say over my children’s religious choices. At the very least, we do not expect them to be subject to influence in a place we had thought to be a safe space from religions influence.”

  He urged Mr Heng to take ‘decisive action’ against City Harvest Church:

  “I hope you and others in a position to do so, act to stamp out this unwarranted influencing of children and young persons by mega churches (and indeed by other religious organisations). Please do not ignore this. CHC claims to have penetrated 70% of schools in Singapore. I think it’s about time your Ministry acted decisively on this. “

  CHC has been under intense public scrutiny of late after its founder Kong Hee was charged along with four other board members last Wednesday for misusing S$50 million dollars of the church funds to further the music career of his singer wife Ho Yeow Sun.

  These students are still young and naive, gullible, ignorant and intellectually undeveloped, easily manipulated by propaganda and cheap tricks. Their minds are simple minds. They are simple people.

  City Harvest should not pray on these easy victims. That is wrong and must be firmly opposed.

  This Kong Hee is really a bastard for stooping to such tactics.

  JT, they penetrate the schools because they are a cult! Young minds are easily brainwashed and manipulated. CHC knows their market. Also these days the school kids have access to parents credit cards and KH & Co want to suck out that cash. CHC is like a big leech machine sucking the life blood out of the pew warmers aka cult followers.   This church is led by Abraham Ku and wife and is very friendly with CHC.

  Therefore as a natural consequence: Jay Chou joined CHC thanks to the Sun Ho crossover project. People totally ecstatic. This is the proof that Kong was right all along.
