Is design school really so different from other schools?

I know that they have individualised timetables...
and that they have their own studios(as a class) to stay and hang out in, so they generally don't mix around..
But what actually makes them so different?
Somehow you can feel like they really stick with their own pple one.. -
Basically what you said is quite true, i must admit. haha.. I don't quite enjoy my stay there.

u already said it urself..They have their own studio and day in day out they are facing the same people..Confirm there will be some sort of bonding between one another already mah..Studio is kind of a nice environment to study and work in...Got their own table, drawer, personal space..Can put ur own stuff and do watever to it also can..Not like the traditional type with no fixed room...Originally posted by _Aaron_:I know that they have individualised timetables...

Art students r very different cos when all e pple in cllege take it easy as their course is exam based n they can relaxed n burn midnight oil last min..... they r diff cos their r judged based on their projects.... alot of deadlines...alot of stress involved..... they also need pple who can inspire them to do better work... n most convienently that will be their classmates.....
